” glistening raindrops”

Don’t listen, to last weeks

glistening  raindrops

atop thin tin echo voices still

shouting about

there [is]

no sight through dusted barn

windows

older than grandfathers,

perhaps they’ve seen enough,

and may this be their plight-

filled with age and loose grains

oozing so slow, no

one

knows to notice

until this day
